Mayfield College
  Mayfield, East Sussex

Set in approximately 30 acres of the high weald area of outstanding natural beauty and dominating the local sky-line, Pugin's Mayfield College is a highly important 'Victorian Gothic' Grade 2 listed building which was completed in 1868 with funds endowed by the Duchess of Leeds in 1865.

From 1868 to 1999 Mayfield College was administered by the Xaverian Brotherhood as an educational establishment. Between 1926 and 1968 a range of low budget utilitarian accommodation buildings were built around the original college.

Sabre's plans include the removal of all the 'English Heritage Guidelines for Enabling Consent And Restoration of Listed Buildings.' Upon completion of the project, Mayfield College will provide secure and new apartments located in two new buildings with underground car parking.

The completed scheme will total approximately 150,000 sq. ft.
